Frank E Hollywood
Frank E. Hollywood's artistic journey began at the St. Joost Art Academy in Breda, the Netherlands. His works explore the tensions between past, present and future. He does not aim to simply reinvent the past, but draws on a collective visual memory of the past to present us with something truly new and extraordinary.
Similar to the Renaissance masters, his works are imbued with symbolism. But within Frank's works, the symbols are completely modern. In the spirit of the old masters, he also strives to be an archetype of the modern Renaissance artist, the "uomo universale". His work encompasses various media and techniques, from oil paintings to marble sculptures. He uses a variety of media to convey his message.
Originally from Amsterdam, Frank's work is permanently exhibited by leading art galleries throughout Europe. His work has also been shown at many prestigious art fairs. He is also a well-known personality on Dutch television and his artwork is often discussed on various shows. Regularly present in the media, Frank has appeared in Dream School, MTV Moneymakers and Stars on the Canvas, among others.
